Swimming pool
The sports pool is Norway's northernmost with 50-meter lanes, and one of the country's largest competition pools.
Outdoor pool
No matter the weather, it's wonderful in the outdoor pool! Swim through the canal and out of the building, and enjoy a unique view of the majestic mountains on Kvaløya.
Saunas
We have several types of saunas, all designed for pleasure. Combine the heat from the sauna with a refreshing dip in the cold pool.
Water slides
If you're looking for a splash of adrenaline, the water slides at Tromsøbadet are a must-try! Can you break the record?
Diving tower
For those who aren't afraid of heights, the diving tower at Tromsøbadet gives you a great vareiety of soars from 1 to 10 meters!
Splash pool
The splash pool offers swimming fun for the little ones and is located right next to the café area and the wave pool. Depth: 0.15-0.3 meters.
Wawe pool
Throw yourself into the waves – here you will find swimming fun for the whole family! Every half hour the waves hit the edge of the pool and offer pure swimming fun!
Hot tubs
Treat yourself to some pampering in one of our hot tubs. In the wellness area at Tromsøbadet you will find several hot tubs – one of which has a beautiful view.
The café
We have a wide selection of pizza, burgers, salads and sandwiches. We also have baked goods, smoothies, slushies and other treats.

How to get here
Here you will find us
We are about 3 kilometers north of the city center. Our adress is Templarheimvegen 35.
With bus
Bus routes 20 and 24 from city centre. Get off at the Templarheimen bus stop. Approximately 5–10 minutes walk from the bus stop to Tromsøbadet.
Bus tickets can be purchased via Svipper.
By car
100 parking spaces, including disabled and electric car parking. Payment for parking via machine or EasyPark app (zone 8700).
With bicycle
We offer 84 spaces in the bicycle shed outside the entrance. Remember to bring your own lock. Bicycle trailers must be parked outside the shed.

Love is in the air
Join us for an evening bath under the stars this Valentine's. Relax and enjoy our spa area - this evening there will be aufguss rituals in the sauna. Swim in our outdoor pool with a spectacular view towards the majestic mountains, surrounded by nature and the cold, arctic air.
When: Saturday 14th of February kl. 19:00-22:00
Price: NOK 250,-. Pay for the entrance at the reception.

Swimwear in our shop
At Tromsøbadet, we have a small shop stocket with essentials for your visit.
The swim shop is open whenever the swimming facilities are open, so stop by to grab what you need and enjoy your time at Tromsøbadet. At our shop you will find swimsuits in various styles and colors, water shoes, towels, swim goggles, soap, and shampoo – just to name a few.
Please note that we do not rent out swimwear – these are only available for purchase.

Due to security reasons, no phones or cameras are allowed in Tromsøbadet. This also applies to the wardrobes.
Only approved swimwear
Only approved swimwear such as swimsuit, bikini, burkini, swim trunk/shorts is allowed in Tromsøbadet. Ask for advice at front desk or buy swimwear in our shop.
