Swim laps or train in our 50-metre sports pool. The pool is also used for lessons, diving and organised activities.
About this pool
The pool can be divided for different activities. Depths vary from the adjustable shallow end to 5 metres beneath the diving area. Check the schedule to see which lanes and areas are open for public swimming.

Warm-water pool
A sheltered warm-water pool for a quieter swim or water workout. Check the schedule for public access between booked sessions.
The warm-water pool has accessible facilities and is connected to the accessible changing area. It also hosts swimming lessons and group sessions. Depth: 1–1.6 metres. Ask reception about access and assistance.

A warm pool with an adjustable floor for swimming lessons and activities. Check public opening times before visiting.
The teaching pool is beside the sports pool. Its adjustable floor allows the depth to be adapted to the activity, up to 2 metres. Water surface: 81 square metres.
Pools for babies and young children

Splash pool
A warm, shallow pool for our youngest visitors, beside the café and wave pool. Little ones can explore fountains and a small slide while an adult stays close and supervises. Depth: 0.15–0.3 metres.
Bring a little seaside fun indoors. Waves run at regular intervals in this family pool, with shallow water at one end and deeper water beyond. Depth: 0–1.8 metres. Check the activity schedule before your visit.

Whirlpool channel
Follow the flowing water around the whirlpool channel, reached from the wave pool. Try moving with the current or swimming against it. Depth: 1.1 metres.
In the wave pool
Poolside climbing wall
Add a climbing challenge to your swim at the far end of the wave pool. The climbing wall must not be used while the waves are running.

Pause beneath the flowing water fountain in the wave pool before heading back into the water.

Warm-water channel
Swim from indoors straight into the outdoor pool through the warm-water channel. Turn towards the wellness area for a quieter break. Depth: 0–1.2 metres.

Water slides
Head upstairs beside the diving towers for two different slides: a short, steep ride and a longer slide with bends and a timer. Check current availability and the rules for each slide before riding.

A floating challenge in the sports pool for children aged 4–11. Usually available on weekends and during holidays, subject to the activity schedule and facility status.

Balance, climb and make your way across the inflatable course in the sports pool. The layout and availability vary with the programme. Check opening hours and follow the staff’s instructions.

Diving boards
Practise your dives from the fixed and spring boards in the sports pool. Use the boards only when open and follow the lifeguards’ instructions.
Settle into the dry warmth of the Finnish sauna, then take a cooling break. Guided aufguss rituals run on Tuesday and Friday mornings, using steam, essential oils and towel movements. Bring a separate towel to sit on and check the programme before visiting.

Enjoy a gentler temperature and humid warmth in the steam room, between the Finnish sauna and cold plunge. Take a quiet pause at your own pace.

Cold plunge
For a sharp contrast after the sauna, try a brief dip in the cold plunge. The water temperature varies and is normally around 8–10°C. Enter slowly and choose what feels comfortable for you.

Soft underwater lighting and warm water make the hot grotto a peaceful place to pause beside the Finnish sauna. Keep voices low and check our rules for access and supervision. Depth: 1.3 metres.

Let the bubbles round off your visit in the wellness area. One of the hot tubs looks towards the mountains on Kvaløya. Check current facility status for availability.

Heated outdoor pool
Swim out through the indoor channel into warm water and fresh Arctic air, with views towards Kvaløya. The pool is designed for year-round use. On a clear, dark winter evening, you might even glimpse the northern lights, if conditions are right. Depth: 1.2 metres.

Forgotten something? The shop at reception sells swimwear, towels, goggles and other essentials for your visit.
The upstairs gallery overlooks the sports pool and diving towers and has space for up to 500 spectators. It is currently used for larger competitions and events, rather than ordinary daily visits.
